North Carolina A&T to play Georgia in future non-conference matchup

North Carolina A&T will go back to Georgia.

But it will not be to play in the Celebration Bowl, a game it has dominated since its inception.

The Aggies are scheduled to go between the hedges to face Georgia in a non-conference matchup in 2030, FBSchedules.com reported.

A copy of the football game agreement between Georgia and North Carolina A&T was obtained from a state public records request, the website reported.

The game is scheduled to be played at Sanford Stadium in Athens on Sept. 7, 2030. The current contract calls for Georgia to pay North Carolina A&T an estimated $650,000.

The matchup will mark the first-ever meeting between the two schools.

In previous seasons, North Carolina A&T has played FBS opponents that include Duke, North Carolina, Coastal Carolina, App. State and East Carolina.
