Culture III is on the way.
Offset is teasing the final installment in Migos’ popular Culture series. Taking to Instagram on Monday, Offset announced a 2020 release date: “CULTURE 3 2020 LAST CHAPTER.”
His caption prompted speculation that this could be Migos’ final album, but it may just be the last chapter in the Culture series. Either way, fans have been eagerly anticipating the long-awaited project since it was first announced in 2018.
“I feel like it’s more about Migos that y’all don’t know yet,” Quavo told Business Insider. “And I feel like this album is going to be prolific. I feel like this album is going to be the album to do it. And I think it’s Culture III, but I don’t know. I think we may change the chapter.”
The trilogy already includes 2017’s Culture featuring the No. 1 hit “Bad and Boujee,” and 2018’s Culture II. The latter spawned the hits “MotorSport,” “Stir Fry,” and “Walk It Talk It” featuring Drake.
Each member also released solo projects–Quavo’s Quavo Huncho, Takeoff’s The Last Rocket, and Offset’s Father of 4–before reuniting as a group. “No straight gang shit from now on,” Offset told a fan last year.
