Beyonce has bought out Topshop’s share of Ivy Park amid sexual assault allegations against Sir Philip Green. Get the deets inside…
Last week, activists were calling on Beyonce to yank her Ivy Park sportwear line from Topshop stores after the owner, Sir Philip Green, was accused of sexual harassment, bullying and racial abuse. It’s reported, five former employees have accused the Topshop owner of “bullying, intimidation and sexual harassment.” Of course, he denies any wrongdoing.
Well, Boss Bey just made a move.
According to reports, Beyonce and Parkwood Entertainment just ended their 50/50 Ivy Park partnership with Green’s Topshop after buying out the company.
“After discussions of almost a year, Parkwood has acquired 100 percent of the Ivy Park brand,” Ivy Park said in a statement, adding that Topshop stores will fulfill any existing orders for Ivy Park clothing.
Full ownership means full equity. WERK.
It was announced in 2014 that Bey was teaming up with Green to produce Ivy Park. The athleisure line made its debut in 2016 and has been killing it ever since.
Ain’t nothing to it, boss.
