2018 has been amazing for pop culture Renaissance Man Pharrell Williams — that forthcoming Chanel collab alone promises even more wins in 2019 — and one of the main reasons behind his successful run of show has been in large part due to the collaborative efforts alongside adidas. To cap things off on a positive note, Skateboard P shows off his gratitude for the Three Stripes with a vibrant new colorway in the Crazy BYW series.
Fittingly enough, “gratitude” is the perfect term to describe Pharrell’s feelings about this latest collab, especially since the word is etched down the middle of the right shoe on the elongated tongue tab; the word “empathy” is shown on the left shoe. While red, blue, green and yellow give the shoe its main pops of color, the main hue present here is black, which takes over the upper completely and extends onto the sock-like ankle and heel portion of the midsole. The balance of colors work perfectly for this particular model, mainly because the chunky portions and herringbone-style outsole make the hues really stand out and gives the shoe multiple points of dimension.
