Rayquan Smith, ‘King of NIL, ‘ is now at Virginia State

After previously committing to Elizabeth City State, former Norfolk State running back Rayquan Smith is flipping within the CIAA Northern Division to Virginia State.

Smith made the announcement on Twitter with the caption “BUSINESS IS BUSINESS” and ” I’M HOME.”

He first entered the transfer portal back in March, committing to Elizabeth City State in May over an offer from Edward Waters.

The former Spartan played two seasons at Norfolk State, finishing with 546 rushing yards and two touchdowns in 11 games.

He was also a member of Norfolk State’s track and field team, participating in each of the throwing events (discus, hammer throw, javelin, and shot put).

Smith comes to Virginia State with two years of eligibility remaining.
