LaToya Ali’s words nearly got her a blow to the end with a gold club courtesy of another The Real Housewives of Atlanta newbie. Ali has made several statements toward Falynn Guobadia and her husband that haven’t sat well with Guobadia.
Guobadia is married to Atlanta businessman Simon Guobadia. The two live quite the luxurious lifestyle including a private plane, high-end cars, diamonds, a $4 million home, and multiple businesses.
Per Ali, Guobadia looks like she dates “older men with money,” as she told Guobadia during their first meeting at Porsha Williams’ surprise appreciation party for her work with Black Lives Matter.
Guobadia spoke to Kandi Burruss on Burruss’ YouTube series Speak On It and explained that despite Ali’s remarks turning her off, she decided to give her several chances to make up for it, including during Cynthia Bailey’s bachelorette weekend in South Carolina. But once again, Ali made snide comments about Guobadia bringing her husband along to stay with her in a separate home.
The final straw for Guobadia was disrespecting her home in the latest episode during a Halloween party Guobadia hosted at her mansion. Ali walked in turned up, speaking about Guobadia’s fabulous home and demanding to be served food and beverage. She also made several comments about the age gap between the Guobadia’s, asking Guobadia to set her up with an older and wealthier man.
When Guobadia confronted Ali about her statements, Ali continued mouthing off, saying everything Guobadia had come from her husband. Guobaid was seen running through her home threatening to go after Ali. her husband Simon intervened and seemingly shut the party down after he and producers held his wife back from going after Ali with a golf club.
While speaking with Burruss, Guobadia explained why she went Tiger Woods on Ali. She says it was a culmination of Ali constantly speaking out of term.
“When LaToya walked in, what threw me off and made everything kind of spiral, she sat down at the table with all the rest of us and she said [the ageism comment],” she said. “I’m not dealing with him, I’m married to him. I have his legacy, unlike you. Secondly, this is our empire, this is where we raise our children. What mother raised you?! I could never speak on another woman like that. That was strike one, strike two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, till I saw red. That’s when the Taurus came out.”
