'RHOA': Porsha Williams Responds To Pregnancy Rumors

Porsha Williams is shutting down speculation that she’s is having a shotgun wedding amid news of her engagement to her co-star’s estranged husband, Simon Guobadia.

Williams and Guobadia announced their decision to wed after they both say they’ve been dating for just one month. Guobadia is currently going through a divorce with The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s friend to the show, Falynn Guobadia.

Fans of Williams assumed that after such a quick courtship, she was with child, pushing a fast engagement. Viewers of the show may recall Williams and her ex-fiance Dennis McKinnley became engaged and pregnant within just months of dating. They share a two-year-old daughter, Pilar.

But Williams is insisting that this time around is different. During a recent episode of Dish Nation, Williams told fans she and Guobadia are simply in love and can’t wait to become one.

“I’ve been waiting for a love like this and God answered my prayers and he’s here and I wasn’t going to deny it when it was smacking me dead in my face,” she said, noting that she understands their relationship progressed “fast.”

She also had a lot to say to critics of her posing for Mother’s Day photos with both McKinley and Guobadia.

“Dennis, myself and Simon, my fiance, were sitting there and it was such a magical moment of just being grown adults and mature and wanting to do the best thing that I was like, let’s seal this moment with a picture, and then we posted it and then I woke up like, ‘wait, what’s happening, why is everybody going crazy?’” she said.

As far as her alleged friendship with Falynn, Williams says the optics aren’t what they seem, noting in her Instagram engagement announcement, “Falynn and I are not friends, and Simon’s divorce has been settled. for all of you that need facts, I get the optics, but Simon filed for divorce from a previous marriage in January. I had nothing to do with their divorce filing,” she contended. “That’s between the two of them.”

It was recently reported that Williams would be a part of a three-part series for Bravo set to begin filming this summer. Simon is said to be featured.
