Rich Paul Announces New Sportswear Brand

Rich Paul Announces New Sportswear Brand Klutch Athletics By Kerane Marcellus ·Updated February 21, 2023

Sports agent Rich Paul is a highly accomplished agent, representing many of our favorite NBA players through his agency Klutch Sports Group. And now, he’s making the leap to brand owner with a sportswear brand dedicated to uplifting Black athletes. Paul has partnered with New Balance to “co-author” with Klutch Athletics. There are so many athletic brands, but Klutch Athletics is all about quality to ensure that each young athlete is able to feel empowered in their athleticwear.

“I’m thrilled to create Klutch Athletics to focus on supporting athletes and the communities in which they live and play,” said Paul via press release. “There’s a gap right now that we can fill –- creating training product that is functional but with style. We’ve seen other brands moving away from youth sports and training, so we’re focused on bringing the new look of training for the next generation. And there’s no one better than New Balance to build this with. I have a long history with them. I know we share similar values, and everything they are doing right now, from product to athletes to collaborations, is leading culture.”

Klutch Athletics’ first collection is set to launch officially in the spring when many athletes find themselves training even more. The collection will feature New Balance’s classic grey colorways of light and deep greys and a touch of green that is representing when many athletes fell in love with their respective sports. Tee shirts, hoodies, sports bras, and shorts are going to be available to athletes soon. These pieces are top quality, and athletes across the U.S. will be able to experience comfort and functionality while looking their best in training.
