Rick Ross is here for Drake and Kanye West’s feud.
Just days after the two reignited their long-standing beef, the MMG mogul is weighing in with his thoughts. In an interview with SiriusXM Urban View’s “The Mike Muse Show,” Rozay celebrated the rivalry between his two friends and collaborators.

“I love it,” he said.
He also revealed the text that Drake sent to him the prior night. “Everything is unfolding. I’m about to be as free as a bird,” Drake reportedly wrote along with the owl emoji, prompting Ross to responded with “Ha ha ha.”

Despite their history, Ross doesn’t think the beef is personal and believes it will only elevate their craft.
“I understand the genius of both of these artists and I understand this is nothing personal to them,” he said. “Their two levels of creativity are inspiring each other… And to me, it only makes the game that much more genius, that much more valuable.”
Added Ross, “It’s genius. They’re both inspiring each other.”
Drake reignited their feud with his verse on Trippie Redd’s “Betrayal.” Kanye responded by seemingly threatening Drake in a text message. “I live for this. I’ve been fu**ed with by nerd ass jock ni**as like you my whole life. You will never recover,” he wrote.

Ye later shared Drake’s home address with his Instagram followers, prompting Drake to post a video of himself laughing it off.
“Who didn’t have Drake’s address already?” asked Ross. “It’s the only $100 million estate in Canada. If you didn’t understand what’s going on, you would have thought that’s personal. It really wasn’t. That’s just them getting ready for, as Drake said, everything unfolding.”
Ross maintains a friendship with both artists. Drake recently called his “Lemon Pepper Freestyle” collaborator the “greatest rapper alive.”
