*Should a law enforcement officer with six suspensions on his record still be allowed on the force? Danny Torres, the Miami-Dade cop who manhandled Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill had at least that many.
Torres is the Miami-Dade cop who was put on desk assignment after he used excessive force against Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill during a traffic stop.
Before that incident, Torress had been suspended at least six times, according to news reports. It’s rare to work a job where it’s allowed to be suspended six times and not get fired. Law enforcement should not be one of those jobs.
Since 1999 Torres has racked up four written reprimands and at least six suspensions. Now MDPD wants the public to believe they don’t tolerate cops who abuse their power.
It’s no wonder the National Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) has endorsed Donald Trump for president over Vice President Kamala Harris, a career prosecutor.
Many of them know with Trump in charge they can continue to be the crooked ass cops they are. And Trump said he will give law enforcement officers immunity from prosecution if he’s elected.
I know why Torres has spent 27 years as a street cop. Click the video to get my take on it.
