Since her transition from her Disney days, actress and singer Zendaya has gone to become one of the most sought-after actresses in Hollywood, nabbing roles in films such as The Greatest Showman, Spider Man: Homecoming and its sequel, Spider-Man: Far From Home.
On the television side, Zendaya has taken audiences by storm for her portrayal of Rue Bennett in the HBO Series Euphoria, for which she took home the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series. Now, audiences are getting an exclusive look at Zendaya in animated form for Space Jam: A New Legacy!
This weekend, ESPN aired an advertisement promoting the release of the film titled “The Bunny & The GOAT.” In the ad, viewers get their first look at Zendaya voicing the character of Lola Bunny. In the Space Jam canon, Lola Bunny is depicted as a member of the Toon Squad and Bugs Bunny’s love interest.
Starring LeBron James, Space Jam: A New Legacy will be the highly anticipated sequel to the 1996 original. Malcolm D. Lee directed the film from a script by Juel Taylor, Tony Rettenmaier, Keenan Coogler and Terence Nance. James, Ryan Coogler, Maverick Carter and Duncan Henderson also produce.
