As an unprecedentedly challenging 2020 comes to close, it’s important to remember that it wasn’t all bad. We’re looking back at some of the many high notes the year brought to the news cycle, which included celebrity pregnancy announcement galore and lots of new arrivals. Here’s a list of the celebrities who gave birth in 2020.
01Teyana TaylorTeyana Taylor and her husband Iman Shumpert had an extra “lit” Labor Day weekend this year. Just 24 hours after their baby shower went down, their second child together, a baby girl named Rue made her grand entrance. Proud papa Iman made the announcement on his Instagram page, confirming that their second daughter was birthed at home in their bathroom just like her big sister Junie, 5. 
Instagram 02Jodie Turner-SmithIn 2020, Queen & Slim actress Jodie Turner-Smith and her husband, Little Fires Everywhere actor Joshua Jackson, became parents to a newborn baby girl. This is the first child for both actors, who first met at a birthday party in 2018. 
Instagram 03LeToya LuckettIn September, actress and singer LeToya Luckett welcomed her second child, a son, with husband Tommicus Walker. “Tysun Wolf Walker,” the Greenleaf actress captioned an Instagram of her baby boy’s footprints, revealing he arrived at 4:03 a.m. and weighed 9 pounds and 7 ounces. “Overjoyed! Thank you, Heavenly Father.” The couple, who wed in 2017, are also parents to daughter Gianna, born in January 2019. 
Instagram 04KelisIn September, Kelis officially became a mom of three! The notoriously private artist let her fans in on the happy news via an Instagram video. “Hey, so I’ve been kind of MIA, very MIA actually, but for a really good reason cause I just had my baby!” the, 41-year-old shared in a video addressed to her followers. “I’ve been doing a lot of thinking and I’m generally a really private person, with my personal life, but I wanted to kind of bring my fam in, bring you guys in, to sort of talk about all of these women’s things we go through that no one really tells us about.” Since giving birth, Kelis has share her joy with fans over having a girl after being a “boy mom” for years. 
instagram 05CiaraIn July, Ciara welcomed her third child, a baby boy named Win Harrison Wilson, with husband Russell Wilson. Baby boy Win is the couple’s second child together. He joined big sister Sienna, 3 and big brother Future Zahir, Ciara’s 5-year-old son with her ex-fiancé, rapper Future. 
Instagram 06Nicki MinajOn Sept. 30, rap queen Nicki Minaj added another impressive feat to her lengthy resumé—new mom. Minaj and her husband Kenneth Petty welcomed a son. As part of her celebration on social media, Minaj shared a photo of the special not Beyoncé sent her to congratulate her on her bundle of joy. 
07Rah AliIn November, Rah Ali has some good news to share with fans, announcing that her rainbow baby has arrived, safe and sound. After suffering a tragic pregnancy loss, the entertainer gave birth to healthy baby girl. The entertainer and former Love & Hip Hop: New York star announced the good news via Instagram through her media brand Onsite.com which shared a photo of Ali sitting in the hospital doting on her newborn baby. “Overjoyed to announce Rah Ali safely welcomed her healthy and beautiful baby girl today, 11-11-2020,” the brand wrote in the caption. 
Instagram 08Eniko HartSeptember was prime time for celebrity baby arrivals this year. It’s also the month Kevin Hart’s wife, Eniko Hart gave birth to her second child with Hart, a baby girl named Kaori Mai Hart. The couple have been married for four years and also share son Kenzo Kash, 2, who revealed ‘Baby K’s’ gender on Mother’s Day. 
Instagram 09ZonniqueOn Dec. 16, just in time for Christmas, singer and reality star Zonnique Pullins and her boyfriend, rapper Badhunta Izzy welcomed their first child together – a baby girl! The news was shared via Zonnique’s mother, Tameka “Tiny” Harris, who is overjoyed to be a first-time grandma. “Congratulations to my 1st my LuvBug @zonniquejailee,” Tiny wrote in the caption celebrating the arrival of her grandchild. “My Gbaby is so fat & cute!! Just as I dreamed she would be!! I told y’all Today was a very Blessed day straight from God! & yes I just loved this video so I had to!”
