The Pulse of Entertainment: Billboard Chart-Topping Jazz Pianist Patrick Bradley Shows ‘Gratitude’

Patrick Bradley Shows ‘Gratitude’
Jazz pianist Patrick Bradley to release 6th solo album ‘Gratitude’ September 20, 2024.

*“To the life I’ve had,” said Patrick Bradley about the meaning of the title of his 6th solo album “Gratitude” (Song Factory) to be released September 20, 2024. “Just thanking the Lord for getting me through. My faith is deeper.”

The “Gratitude” album by Billboard chart-topping Jazz keyboardist Patrick Bradley is his re-dedication to his belief in the goodness of God that is seen in our lives, by those who believe, time after time after time. The gift of praise is produced by multi-Grammy nominated Darren Rahn who also co-wrote the project that offers 10 selections of love.

“I’ve been a  Christian for almost 40 years,” Bradley told me when I asked about his faith. “I wanted it to be real.”

Then to God, he says, “You’re in charge and nothing can happen to me unless through your will.”

“Normally some songs I have a concept,” he said when I asked about his songwriting process. “Then sometimes…I have a tile. I wanted a song called Gratitude. It was one of the last songs recorded.”

The “Gratitude” project, aside from having Bradley on keys and 29-time #1 Billboard chart-topper Darren Rahn on sax and drums, it has assistance from Allen Hinds on guitar; Grammy-winning Mel Brown on bass; Tarell Martin on drums; Christian Teele on percussionist; Randy Jacobs on guitar, and Dave Beegle on acoustic guitar.

“Darren and I had been writing basic parts (for the title track). Then we said, ‘This is it!’ We had the right vibe,” Patrick said. “We had the right melody.”

The current single being promoted however is “Road Trippin’”

Patrick has spent a lifetime on the road for his projects, as well as for others. He has worked with such iconic artists as Grammy-winning Jeff Lorber; Grammy-nominated Eric Marienthal; Rick Braun; Jimmy Haslip (Steely Dan); Gary Novak; Grammy-nominated David Mann (Sting); Paul Jackson, Jr. (Michael Jackson); Dave Koz, and Michael Thompson (Michael Jackson)

“I also want to bless other people…glorify God,” he said, as we concluded the interview.  www.PatrickBradley.com
