*Donald Trump is a legend … in his own mind. That’s no secret. But when he starts to compare himself to iconic dead people, it’s time for an intervention.
This time Trump claimed he had a bigger crowd on January 6th in Washington, D.C. than Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., had at his ‘I Have A Dream’ speech. Apparently, Trump doesn’t listen to his paid advisors. Some of them claim trying to get him to stay on message is like trying to herd cats – next to impossible.
Instead of standing by while Trump has diarrhea of the mouth, it’s time for journalists to fact-check him in real time. What’s the internet for, if not for instant information?

By the way, it’s not just us saying that Donald Trump is self-centered. According to a Pew Research Report, the public in general, is broadly critical of Trump in assessing a number of his specific traits and characteristics.
A sizable majority of Americans (80%) say the phrase “self-centered” describes him very or fairly well, while 59% view him as prejudiced.
A far larger share (53%) say they don’t like how he conducts himself, while another 30% say they have mixed feelings.
Just 27% say the description “even-tempered” applies to Trump. Views of Trump’s temperament have been widely negative since he took office:
In a telephone survey last year, which asked about different personal traits, 28% said he was even-tempered.
