Chiwetel Ejiofor has joined the cast of Venom 3, starring Tom Hardy.
While the details of Ejiofor’s role in Sony’s Marvel Universe film are unknown, Deadline reports that Hardy will return as the franchise’s titular character and serve as producer. Kelly Marcel is set to direct, with Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal and Hutch Parker producing.
Venom 3 marks Ejiofor’s latest project, having recently reprised his role as Baron Mordo in Marvel Studios’ Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
The actor will also be starring and directing the upcoming film Rob Peace, based on the tragic life of the Yale student who was fatally shot at the age of 30.
Ejiofor is also set to make his return in Netflix’s The Old Guard 2.
