Video: SWAC commissioner McClelland talks about postponing fall sports for 2020

Dr. Charles McClelland, Southwestern Athletic Conference Commissioner, met with Kenn Rashad to discuss the conference’s decision to postpone all 2020 fall sports due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The commissioner speaks about the league’s modified football schedule for the sping and the plan for testing student-athletes, addressing the challenges some of the member institutions will face in meeting the requirements put in place by the NCAA.

Additionally, McClelland talks about the logistical issues the conference will face in conducting all sports during the springs season.
