Watch Summer Walker Get Surprised with a G-Wagon for Christmas

Christmas came early for Summer Walker.

The singer’s label, LVRN Records, surprised her with a brand new Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon for the holidays.

In a video posted on social media, the “Something Real” singer is in disbelief as she is handed the keys to the pricey black whip with a giant yellow bow on top. “Me?” asks a nervous Walker before her team encourages her to check out the car. “I don’t know, I’m scared. I feel like I just sold my whole ass.”

She marvels at the red interior before hopping in the driver’s seat. “For real guys? I feel so awkward,” says Summer.

Someone in her team responds, “Setbacks don’t matter when you have a support system. Remember that. We love you.”

It’s been a whirlwind year for the 23-year-old songstress. Her debut album Over It was released in October and earned the largest streaming week ever for an R&B album by a woman. She capped off 2019 with a sold-out tour, but had to cancel a majority of the dates due to her social anxiety.

In her caption, Summer reflected on the ups and downs. “People don’t even know what I actually went through this year.. I just sucked it up & kept pushin to the best of my abilities,” she wrote. “Stayed quiet & stayed kind & in return I just keep getting BLESSED.”

She continued by thanking her team and boyfriend, London On Da Track. “I Always feel so alone but these men always make sure to remind me that I have a family, that I’m valued, taken care of, & protected. This is so crazy I can’t say thank you enough @lvrngram & thank you pumkin @londonondatrack I appreciate y’all so much.”
