*In 2023, Simone Biles reportedly earned $7.1 million, with $100,000 from competition and winnings, and the remainder from endorsements with brands like MasterClass, Athleta, and UberEats.
For the 2024 Olympics, Biles’ earnings from medals are modest, with U.S. payouts being $15,000 for bronze, $22,500 for silver, and $37,500 for gold. Her past Olympic earnings total $185,000, including her most recent gold medal, Good Housekeeping reports.
In December 2023, Forbes ranked her as the 16th richest female athlete globally, the highest among gymnasts.
Biles marked her recent Olympic victory with a jab at Donald Trump.
After winning her second gold medal at the Paris 2024 Games in the individual all-around event, Biles reinforced her self-proclaimed title as the GOAT (greatest of all time). On Friday, she took to Twitter/X to gush about her win in a post that read: “I love my black job.”
Deadline reports that Trump told a roomful of Black journalists at an event in Chicago this week that immigrants are taking “Black jobs.”
“I will tell you that coming from the border, are millions and millions of people that happen to be taking Black jobs,” the former president said.
“A Black job is anybody that has a job. That’s what it is,” Trump added.
During the interview, Trump questioned whether Vice President Kamala Harris is Black.
“I’ve known her for a long time indirectly, directly, very much. And she was always of Indian heritage and she was promoting Indian heritage,” Trump said. “I didn’t know she was Black until a number of years ago when she happened to turn Black, and now she wants to be known as Black. So I don’t know, is she Indian, or is she Black?”
