A sweet vacation proposal ended in tragedy, leaving a woman mourning the love of her life. Kenesha Antoine’s partner Steven Weber Jr. proposed to her underwater during their romantic getaway to Tanzania. Antoine shared the news of her partner’s passing on Facebook where she shared a video of the last seconds they shared together before his tragic death.
In the video, Weber is seen wielding a beautifully written message asking Antoine to be his bride in a sealed plastic bag.
“I can’t hold my breath long enough to tell you everything I love about you. But… Everything I love about you I love more every day,” one side of the message read as Weber held it up to the glass of the diving tank. The other side displayed the actual question, “Will you please be my wife. Marry me???”

“There are no words adequate enough to honor the beautiful soul that
is Steven Weber, Jr.,” Antoine wrote. “You were kind, compassionate, you
regularly made me cry with laughter, and you showered me with a love like none
I’d ever experienced.”
“You never emerged from those depths, so you never got to hear my
answer, Yes! Yes! A million times, yes, I will marry you!!” Antoine wrote to
her lost lover.
“We never got to embrace and celebrate the beginning of the rest of our lives together, as the best day of our lives turned into the worst, in the cruelest twist of fate imaginable.”
The causes of Weber’s passing has not been revealed. Despite her heartbreak Antoine wrote on Facebook that she is grateful for the love they shared. “I will find you and marry you in the next lifetime, and the next, and the next, and the next… I love you so much, and I always will.”
