We’re still days away from the highly-anticipated Nike Air Fear Of God 1 arriving this Saturday (Dec 15), but Jerry Lorenzo also has a little extra heat coming our way through his ongoing collaborative efforts with Converse.
Initially previewed this past summer, the featured FoG x Converse Essentials collab gives us a clean take on the Chuck ’70 silhouette. The primary hue shows off a cream base colorway, complimented further with stark black accents on the tongue, toe cap and perimeter stripe along the midsole. Although not straying too far from the design we all know and love, the extra-long shoelaces do make for a cool customizing option, which can wrap around a new built-in heel tab on the back of the silhouette. The combination of leather and canvas gives the shoe a very luxe presentation, which has basically become Jerry’s mantra with everything he drops on the fashion world. This one definitely doesn’t disappoint either, and it just further sets up his legacy as a key player in pushing the footwear industry forward.
No word yet on when the Fear Of God x Converse Essentials Chuck ’70 arrives in stores, but check out the collab below as we await further details on the release:
