Ceasar Emanuel Plans to Transform Opa-Locka, Florida Into the Black Soho


There is no question that Black Ink has become the Tattoo industry’s go-to franchise. Led by Black Ink’s CEO, Ceasar Emanuel, the hit TV show on VH1 has had seven successful seasons, with another 4 seasons with Black Ink Chicago. Ceasar has expanded his business across the nation as well. There are currently seven shops operating in Harlem (2), Atlanta (1), Orlando (1), New Orleans (1) and soon to come to Philadelphia.

Now he is gearing to take over South Beach. The veteran tattoo artist is currently working with King of Diamonds founder, Mr. Terry Elliot Sr., to transform Opa-Locka, Florida into the “Black Soho.” This beautification project will include murals and other forms of art to attract all artist of our culture. It looks like Miami has welcomed Ceasar with open arms.

As a successful businessman, he values the nature of philanthropy.  The reality star has launched Black Ink Cares in Atlanta to support and aid women affected by domestic violence. He had a mission upon his move. “I moved to Atlanta to make a difference and not to just open up another tattoo parlor. I want Black Ink to be more than just a place to get tattoos. I want it to be a safe haven for the community, ” said Emanuel.

Ceasar has turned his successful tattoo business into a platform to help and improve his communities. Although he has assumed the role of the “bad guy” as a result of his disagreements with other cast members this season, he continues to display his brilliance and good intention through art and philanthropy.
